Single Mom's Car Totaled By Stolen Tow Truck

On Monday Morning while on the way to take my son to our church's big summer event for the kiddos, I was hit along with many others by Rudy Salazar in the tow truck he had stolen shortly beforehand.

Due to the intensity of seeing the tow truck heading right for us, as he came into oncoming traffic and bracing for the impact, along with my underlying chronic but stable heart condition, I was taken into the ER to be examined.

Now, just day 2 after the accident and outside of body aches, and totaled vehicle, I have just been informed of more devastating news of the Victim's Advocate unable to help with finances or the replacement of my vehicle. I also had a job interview scheduled the day we were hit for an amazing opportunity that clearly was missed and affected by this accident.

Prior to the accident our hope of getting back on our feet from the many hits taken from the Pandemic . . . . . my son getting ready to go back to daycare, a new job, and moving forward, this clearly put a halt to our progress.

God is good and protected my son and I both from any serious injuries. One thing I've been blessed with is a strong will. And although the actions of Mr. Salazar have effected us greatly, we will not roll over! We will keep on keeping on, dust ourselves off and finish the race no matter what!

With your help we will have a head start in cleaning up this mess and a chance to move forward from this tragic event. My car is totaled. I still owe over $7000 in loans, and having been impacted by the pandemic as a single mom I haven't been able to save money.
