On Wednesday 10/23/2019 Carmen left her house in Rohnert Park at 3:40pm to run an errand. Her neighbor called at 4pm to tell her that her mobile home was on fire. The fire took the entire mobile home and her and her children lost everything they own. They believe the fire started in her bedroom where she kept everything important to the family.  Carmen has lived in Sonoma county for a long time. She works hard and owns her own house cleaning business.

Carmen just came out of a difficult custody battle and has full custody of her 3 daughters, 5, 8, and 14. She also has two sons who live with her and they are 18 and 19. Carmen is the sweetest most honest hard working person. She has had a hard year and she would never ask for anything. I want to help her rebuild. She will get some insurance support but it won't be much and she owns her mobile home and has to pay for a bunch of expenses with all of this. Her kids lost all of their clothes, shoes and personal effects. I am gathering clothes for her and her kids but I know having some money to buy things that her kids want will help with the pain of loosing everything and help them with the extra expenses that are going on. I figure if a bunch of people contribute a little we can really make a difference for this beautiful family.
