Single Mom. Two Kids. One Broken Car. No Backup Plan.

I’m a single mom doing everything I can to keep my head above water for my two kids. We just moved into a new apartment, and every dollar I had went to covering the old rent, the new rent, and the security deposit. I have no savings left—but we finally had a safe place to call home.

Now my car—the only way I get to work and make extra income—has broken down with major transmission and engine problems. It’s undrivable. Without it, I can’t work. I can’t get my kids where they need to go. And I’m out of options.
