In this world of being a single mom I've come to see just how hard it is for so many women who have found themselves with an ex husband who decides to not continue supporting their children (despite court orders).
I have a dear friend in this situation who has two children a boy and girl 13 and 15 who is facing eviction if she doesn't have 2,000 by Monday, February the 10th at 10:00.
She is a diligent and hard working mama who sometimes carries three jobs to make ends meet. But unforeseen additional expenses have made it tight. She had an agreement with the apartment manager to make payments. But the landlord has said no and is requiring the full 2,000 or she and her kids will literally be on the streets.
I want to see if we can help her find a miracle and see that people really do care. For my believing friends, this is an opportunity to literally be the hands and feet of Jesus in a family's life.
You all it's a lonely and scary place that she is in, and yet she isn't complaining and wouldn't even think to do this for herself. She doesn't have family to help. I would be in this exact same position if my parents hadn't been able to help me in the last two years. My heart feels for her and her children as they're the same ages as my girls.
You know how they say we're all just a couple of
paychecks and a couple of unexpected emergency expenses away from finding ourselves on the streets. It's so true.
So if we can get 50 people to donate $40.00 or 100 people to donate $20 or any combination of anything you can do, together let's make a difference.
I'm having to keep this anonymous due to her safety with an ex husband. But I promise you these funds will go directly to her rent. I will post the check when it is made out to the rental company.
Thank you so much in advance for making this miracle happen.
