Help single mom of seven who broke her ankle
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Cynthia Watke and I am raising funds for my adopted daughter, Christina Collier, and my seven grand-children. A couple weeks ago, while fueling up at Sam’s Club on her way to work, the fuel nozzle malfunctioned and spewed fuel on her and the ground causing her to slip and fall.. The manager rushed over and saw how severely broken her ankle was and urged her to be still, to not get up. After he lifted her into the car, my grand-daughter drove her to the emergency room.
Tina’s left ankle was broken in three places, with additional damage to her heel and Achilles’ tendon. After the swelling went down, a few days later they operated on her ankle, putting it back together with pins and plates.
She is now incapacitated, not able to work at her job as a waitress in a Cary, NC sports bar. She will be unable to return to work for ten weeks.
As a single mom of seven, this is a fearful and stressful time. With no income, with no way to travel and work on her feet, she desperately needs help for medical costs and monthly bills.
Her step-father and I are helping all we can, but as seniors on a fixed income, we are asking for help from family, friends, acquaintances, and others who feel compassion for our precious daughter and grand-children.
