Hi, my name is Shannell and Im raising funds for a local single mom. Her name is Cody. Single mom of three just lost her children's father, lost her job, and recently was diagnosed with late onset of diabetes type 1. At 42 year old due to diabetic blindness went for surgery october 6th made her vision worse because she could feel all the things now has no vision in 1 eye amd 10% in 2nd eye. Cant even take her own blood sugars. Cant see the blood on the strip has her 19 yo helping around the house, including blood sugar pokes. 2 younger kiddos to look after. Next schedueled surgery is in november. Hopefully they can correct her vision enough so she can complete the rest of treatment. With no job, relying on family for the little bit they can contribute, I am setting up a go fund me account for her amd her three babies. The next 3 weeks will be tough. Then recovery of 2 eye surgeries. Every donation goes towards bills (no ei) food and transportation to and from medical appointments. Her 19 yo just had appendix surgery so you could imagine the weight on one family. Im starting to prep meals that are quick heat for the family but if anyone has a share a donation she doesn't know im setting this up.
