Story:

Hi, my name is Carmen Watson From St. Louis, MO and I’m a single mother of four beautiful children. I’ve always done my best to keep things together for my kids, no matter how hard life gets. But on Friday, a tornado hit our area, and a large tree came crashing down and completely destroyed my car—our only transportation.

This car was how I got to work, got my kids to school, made it to doctor appointments, and ran everyday errands. Now we’re stuck. I’m heartbroken, overwhelmed, and honestly scared. I don’t have the money to replace what we lost, and I have no family support or safety net to fall back on.

People around me have encouraged me to start this GoFundMe, and while it’s hard to ask for help, I know I can’t do this alone. I’m asking for anything you can give—whether it’s $5, $50, or simply sharing this with someone who might be able to help. Every single bit matters right now.

The funds raised will go toward:

• Replacing our car or securing reliable transportation
