Single Mom of 3 fighting Breast Cancer

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Becky Nelson and I am fundraising for my good friend Kimberly Bradshaw and her fight against Breast Cancer. Please read her story, written by her sisters:

“Mom I have a very bad feeling” – Kimberly’s 10-year-old son asked her out of the blue if she was sick with cancer and said he had a bad feeling… a doctor’s visit confirmed he was right. Full story below:

To know Kimberly is to love her. Her energy is a force to be reckoned with, full of fun, laughter, light and love. It is because of the love we have for our baby sister, that we have chosen to share her story on her behalf.

Kimberly is a very private individual, so if you know her personally, then you know, creating this Go Fund Me page was extremely uncomfortable for her. She never wants to be a burden on anyone and is typically the one doing the giving, making this trial even more difficult for her. For years she has served the ones she loves, giving everything she has to her kids, her marriage, her family, and friends.

It is our desire, that in sharing, we can help her now, in some small way, accomplish her very BIG life goals as she has helped so many of us along our journeys.

Kimberly is a dreamer, she wants to live a simple life filled with love, joy, and fulfillment. She dreams of the day in which her professional and personal goals can be achieved, which are:

1) To live a long healthy life filled with the ability to run and play with her children.
2) To be able to financially and emotionally care for and raise her 3 children.
3) To share not only God’s love with all His children but her own personal love for each new person she encounters.

So, FOR THE LOVE OF KIMBERLY, we are creating a GO FUND ME PAGE in her behalf.

Kimberly is the youngest daughter out of Al and Susanne White's 10 children. She was married for 12 years and has 3 beautiful children. Sadly, after those 12 years, her marriage came to an end. After being separated for 3 long painful years, the divorce was finalized in December of 2022.

Despite the devastating loss of her marriage, Kimberly chose to become BETTER, not BITTER. She dove quickly into a variety of healing modalities so should could not only heal herself but her children, which had experienced extreme heartache as well; always hoping she'd come out on the other side of this traumatic experience stronger and able to help others.

After MUCH emotional and introspective work, Kimberly started to see the light and began her healing journey. In fact, it was such a transformative experience that she felt called to share what she had learned with others in similar situations.

In order to support herself and her children, and to follow her desire to help others, Kimberly became a certified Yoga Instructor. She began working at one of the top yoga studios in Tempe and then one day she felt called to give back even more. She decided to collaborate with Intuitive Wellness Coaching and co-create Intuitive Wellness Retreats which focuses on supplying women the techniques and skills to help expedite their healing process as they recover from traumatic events in their lives. Kimberly soon realized she wanted to reach a wider range of people in a more substantial way.

She enthusiastically created her own company, Flower Child Adventures, which helps children, families, and individuals learn how to self-regulate their emotions by providing and teaching them tools to help deal with their life's stressors. Creating an after School Program, through Flower Child Adventures where she teaches young children coping strategies such as self-awareness, emotional regulation, yoga, breath work, meditation, and much more. It has been so inspirational not only to her, her children, and the school district that she plans to take Flower Child Adventures back for the summer months and then eventually go from school to school offering her after school program, until it has been implemented across as many schools as she can reach throughout the state of Arizona. We know all too well how important it is for our children to be in control of their own emotions, especially during these unprecedented times. We wish to support her not only during her health journey but also support such a crucial and needed program.

Finally, Kimberly’s life was starting to calm down and come together. She finally felt happy and at peace, knowing she was making a positive difference in the world. She was feeling so blessed by her new life. She was soaking it all in, grateful and energized by the work she was doing.

Then, in January of this year, not even a month after finalizing her divorce, Kimberly was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer, at the young age of 36.

How Kimberly discovered the cancer is quite miraculous. She was having 1 on 1 time with her middle child, Colton (10yrs old). Kimberly noticed there was something on Colton's mind and, asked, "What's wrong buddy?" Unexpectedly, and out of the blue, Colton asked, "Mom, are you sick? Do you have cancer? I have a very bad feeling and don't want you to die!" He didn't know why he had that thought or why he was worried about it, he just was. (We know God was working through Colton to save our sister's life.) The concern on her son's face and his sincere question is what led Kimberly to make a doctor's appointment. Unfortunately, Colton's fears were confirmed. His beautiful mother did indeed have cancer. She was stunned, as were we all.

Several friends and family members have asked how they can help. We need ALL the PRAYER WARRIORS we can get right now. Prayers for a miraculous healing for our baby sister to beat this diagnosis. We so desperately want her to accomplish her life goals!!! We know that God is aware of her and that He's in the details of our lives. We know that He can do this. We are asking for a collective FAITH FORCE to petition God on her behalf. This is where we ALL are presented with the opportunity to reach deep inside our souls to find something as small as a mustard seed, yet so powerful that even a mountain could be moved.

With Kimberly being a single mom, we'd like to help offset some of the financial burden at this time so that she can focus on healing and parenting her 3 babies (Ashlyn 14, Colton 10, and River 4). And, so, for the love of Kimberly, we have created this GO FUND ME page. If you are moved to donate, we, her family, and friends would be so grateful for your generosity and support!

All money donated will go towards:
1. Medical expenses
2. Living expenses while she's out of work, going through treatments, child care and recovery

Kimberly is the hardest working, most loyal, authentic and loving person! We know she will do everything in her power to meet her family's needs. She isn't scared of a challenge; even though this challenge is particularly scary, she is determined to come out of this trial, just like the last one, BETTER and NOT BITTER. She is a fighter!

If you'd like to follow Kimberly's breast cancer journey, you can follow her at flowerchild.adventures on Instagram.

God Bless you all! Thank you so much for all your love, support and donations!
