On Thursday, 6/19/25, my sister, Cynthia Santiago, whom is a a single mom of 3 incredible boys was attacked by her neighbor's daughter in Warwick, NY. Warwick is a wonderful and safe small town where people are surrounded by a friendly and welcoming community. She is a positive contributor to her community and has worked incredibly hard to build a life that she is proud of for herself and her children.

She was stabbed multiple times in the back, causing liquid/blood to leak into her lungs, bruised ribs and a broken rib due to the impact of the large knife. She has spent multiple days in the hospital and is now dealing with not only physical but mental trauma. She is out of work and unable to care for her children. The home that was once her safe haven has now become a questionable source of stress due to the proximity of her home to her neighbor.

This GoFundMe is being created to request assistance for the expenses that she is incurring and will incur to reclaim the life that she has worked so hard for. These expenses range from medical expenses to therapy for both her and her children, as well as assistance while she is out of work.
