Single Mom of 2 Please Help Save Our Apartment

Hi,

I am a single mother of 2. I have an urgent need with help paying past due rent. I am 2 months behind and very close to eviction.

A little about my little family. I have a 4 and 8 year old. We were in an unstable home situation for 8 years. I was a stay at home mom. I started a small business from home. I was able to save up and move my girls and I out into our own apartment. I worked hard to keep up with rent for 1 1/2 years on my own.

Starting this summer my small business started to plunge in sales and has been hard to keep up with bills and rent. I also work Instacart, but my girls and I are recovering from covid that lasted a whole month. I was unable to work instacart to tend for my daughters and then I also got sick.

For now I am reaching for help to keep my girls and I up to date with paying past due rent to keep our apartment. I just need help getting over this hump as time is ticking and everyday is stressful to get a notification on my door.

I understand that I am not the only one that needs help right now. Alot of people are struggling right now as inflation is so high with food and rent. Our cost of living ratio to income is very hard to live manage especially with single parents.

Asking for financial help is something I have never done before. I've worked so hard to start a new life with my daughters and to keep up with rent for 1 1/2 years and at the point I need to ask for help as times are tough right now and to put my pride aside. I have reached out to churches and organizations with no luck as they do not have any funding left to help.
