Single Mom Needs Help To Save Everything I Own

Hello, I am Rachael. I am a single, hardworking mama to 2 boys ‍‍ (13 and 3) who has just been in a tough space recently. I was working full time in my new career of pet grooming when I had a bad injury to my back and neck. After being evaluated and having imaging done, I have a lot of damage to my spine and have since been restricted at my job (lower number of pets, weight restriction, less hours) which has resulted in a huge decrease in my paychecks. Along with that, my 2 boys both have emotional/behavioral issues and are in the midst of having services and evaluations. My younger son is now home with my Mama while I work because he cannot attend regular daycare and I am having to get him evaluated for services so he can hopefully attend a developmental preschool that can help him with his behaviors.

Between my boys, my physical health and my job, I am so stressed, worried and unfortunately and embarrassingly struggling. We live with my parents currently (thank god for them) but when we moved in I had to place ALL of our belongings into a storage facility and have now fallen behind on the payments due to everything going on. Because of this, we are at risk of losing EVERYTHING we hold dear! Everything we own, ALL of our memories and important items. Things from when the boys were younger, all of my furniture, things my boys hold dear to their hearts, literally everything I own to my name. I can’t lose basically our entire lives. We are so close to losing the last 10 years of our lives I am heartbroken.

I want to get everything moved from this facility due to the high cost but in order to do that I have to pay the settlement, which they have been kind enough to agree to forgive a lot of it due to my circumstances, and are now only requiring $2200 to get everything moved out to another storage facility. The problem is that they’ve only given me 10 days to come up with the money, which will be impossible in my current situation I have exhausted all other options and ideas and am SO embarrassed to even consider this route, but I don’t know what else to do besides reach out to my community of friends, family and acquaintances

Please…if there is anything you can do to help, my boys and I will be forever grateful. I will not put anybody out of house or food so please only if it won’t impact your own family…just know that I am thankful for each of you for even taking the time to read this and if you are in a position to help I am eternally grateful to you. I am more than willing to pay it forward or arrange to pay it back in payments if I need to.
