Hello. My name is Kiana and I'm a single mom of 2. I am coming to the internet, in a bit of a long stretch, to hopefully get some help. Any help. I was let go from my job at the end of March. I've been putting in countless applications and I've been at the desperate phase for some time now. But I am a believer in the Lord and I cannot deny His presence in my life and my family's life. I have faith that everything will be OK and am thankful that we have what we need: food, clothing, shelter. That being said, I am now 2 weeks away from the 1st (rent is due) and any resource that I have been given is not able to meet any "immediate" needs and my church is fairly large, so the wait list for financial assistance from them is at least 3-4 months.
My little bit of savings that I had has been gone, and I'm praying that the Lord will guide me and show me where I need to be next.
I am grateful for any monetary help. And any possible recommendations for employment or even a temporary job that you may be able to offer. But if not, a prayer for my family would be just as great.
Thank you for reading this far. I've never done this or posted anything so vulnerable, so I'm not really sure of what I'm supposed to have put. So I lead with honesty and God in my heart. Hopefully, it's received well.
