Single Mom Needs Help After Losing Home To Fire

one of the many things that any parent fears, has tragically happened to one of my good friends on Tuesday may 20th. not only did she lose her home but she also has 5 kids that lost their home too.

thankfully, everyone made it out safe and American Red Cross has donated enough to put them in a hotel for a week and I have set up a meal train for them. There’s also a donation option on the meal train site, but we’re not expecting to meet these goals, they’re simply just set to a random limit. We’re also not expecting to exceed these amounts as there is a plan for a fundraising benefit in the future to help raise money for them a home. We’re seeking immediate donations as she is a single mother with 5 kids; she is working, has a steady job, but as we all know times are hard right now and even harder when you don’t have a home to return to after work. Once the week is up for the hotel, they have no where to go. With that being said, I am trying to get her as much money as possible so they can pay for somewhere to stay for the next few weeks/months to come.

and 3 (boy)

Diapers and wipes are definitely needed for the 3 year old, for the ones that would rather donate items.

i am also attempting to help take the burden of bills off of her at this time. Plus, they will need everything from toiletries to diapers and clothes, shoes, socks, towels, laundry detergent, furniture, cleaning supplies, trash bags, broom, mop, everything all over again.
