Single Mom Naomi Needs a Fresh Start

Hi everyone. My name is Naomi and I am a 34-year-old single mama to an amazing 15-year-old. I am coming to you all for help. A few months back, my car started acting up, which is my only transportation to work. It ended up breaking down completely, resulting in it needing a whole new battery and engine, which was extremely costly. With that being said, I ended up becoming beyond behind with bills and rent, which then resulted in my power being shut off and losing all my groceries in the fridge/freezer (there goes more $). And for the icing on the cake, my worst fear: eviction. No one ever wants to go through eviction; it is the hardest thing to do. I tried going to churches and organizations and through rental assistance, and no one was able to help me, and that’s how we ended up getting evicted.

I am now asking for help. I know times are tough and everyone is struggling, but I am just needing to come up with funds to get me on my feet again. If you have it in your heart to help me, please. This is the very last thing I wanted to do, but it’s really hard right now. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I am forever grateful.
