Standing strong with Maria; Helping her fight for her life with breast cancer

A few weeks ago, my friend Maria Martin was diagnosed with an aggressive form of high-grade triple-negative breast cancer. This devastating news caught her completely off guard, as breast cancer does not run in her family. Triple-negative breast cancer is the most aggressive form there is—and Maria will need the most aggressive treatment to fight it.

Maria is only 34 years old, a bright, loving soul, and the devoted mom to her 3-year-old daughter, Nova. Now, she faces the fight of her life: intensive treatments, a double mastectomy, immune-building therapies, and an entire year away from work.

Maria has always been the one to show up for others with love, laughter, and strength—but this time, she needs our strength. The weight of medical bills and living expenses is overwhelming while she undergoes treatment and recovery.
