On November 4th, 2023 a fire broke out at the Thompson’s family home in the Bronx. As a single mother always trying to make ends meet, Rose worked so hard to give her children the best possible life.

When Rose was at work, working to support her children, a fire broke out in her home allowing her 7 year old son to escape while her wheelchair bound daughter was trapped in the flames. The life of Skylar Thompson was taken on November 4th, the day before her 13th birthday.

Not only was her daughter taken from her, but her entire home was burnt down, losing everything. We are asking for any donations to help Rose rebuild any part of her life that she can. There is nothing Skylar would want more to see her mother and brother try to cope without an immense financial burden during this time. All of the funds will go towards helping Rose stay on her feet for the next few months.
