Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out today not just as a cat mom, but as a mother trying to stay strong for her family. Yesterday, our sweet cat Figaro fell from the fourth floor. She’s now in critical condition. While her internal organs are thankfully okay, she has serious injuries to her right paw and the roof of her mouth. She’s in a lot of pain and has to stay in the hospital.

Tomorrow, the vets may need to put her under anesthesia to X-ray her paw and from there, she may need surgery, pins, or possibly amputation. It’s heartbreaking and terrifying. The costs are already rising quickly, and we haven’t even reached the most expensive part yet.

Figaro is not just a pet to us. She’s part of our family especially to my two young children. To them, she’s their best friend and like a little sister. Seeing them so worried and scared is the hardest part.

As a single mom with my own ongoing health struggles, I’m doing everything I can but I can’t do this alone. That’s why I’ve started this fundraiser, to try and give Figaro the care she needs, and to ease the fear and sadness in my children’s hearts.
