Single mom had a stroke last night
Donation protected
Hi my name is Cheryl. I am fundraising for a good friend of mine in Las Vegas. All donations made will go to her living expenses while she cannot work, and also medical bills.
Bianca Stephens was at home last night when she started to lose her vision in her right eye. She got confused and didn't know where she was, but luckily her 14 year old son Tate was home and heard her scream.
She was taken to and is currently admitted to Centennial Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. Doctors admitted her to ICU as she was having a stroke.
She currently has been diagnosed as having an aortic dissection, which means having a break in her aortic wall leading into her brain stem. She is currently being treated but still experiencing alot of pain in her neck and head and having a hard time walking, needing assistance with just getting to the bathroom.
They are keeping her in ICU right now where doctors can react quickly to install a stint in her neck should the aorta start to dissect again. Doctors also notified her today that she may have blood clots near the heart where they are going to further test and monitor.
Bianca is terrified right now. She is a 36 year old single mom and works 2 jobs to support her and her child. Her jobs lack benefits and although she should be worried about her health, she is more worried about how she is going to pay basic bills. She does not know how long her hospital stay will be, or if her recovery afterwards will be short or long.
Bianca wanted me to share she is very grateful for the Doctors and the care she is receiving. If you cannot donate, she would love any well wishes or prayers her way. If you can donate, any amount would be so greatly appreciated.
