I am a single mother doing my best to care for my family during an incredibly challenging time. Recently, I had to leave my job to care for my mom, who is very sick with cancer and is in her last days. Being there for her is important to me, but it has made it impossible to keep working. While I was trying to support my mom, I received an eviction notice from my landlord. Now, I am facing the real possibility of losing our home, all while trying to be there for my mom and take care of my two children—a 5-month-old baby girl and a 9-year-old son.

I am doing everything I can to find a new job that fits my current situation, but right now, I am scared that I won't have housing for my kids. The funds from this fundraiser will go toward a down payment for a new apartment and help cover urgent living expenses. My priority is to keep my children safe and secure while I navigate this family emergency and work toward getting back on my feet.
