My name is Sandra, and I’m a single mom to a newborn baby girl and three other wonderful kids. Just two weeks ago, I welcomed my daughter into the world, but it’s been a challenging journey. During my pregnancy, I developed a subchronic hematoma that caused serious bleeding, forcing me to go on maternity leave much earlier than planned. My job as an ABA was risky due to the clients I worked with, and living in a rural area meant there were no alternative assignments or even public transportation options. Since July, I’ve been without income, and in October, I lost my job because I wasn’t cleared to return to work.
Now, I’m facing eviction and struggling to provide for my children. My car’s engine just blew out, making it even harder to find work or get my kids where they need to go. The funds from this fundraiser will help me cover rent, secure a car so I can get back to work, and provide for my children—including childcare. These are the essentials we need to get back on our feet and move forward.
Helping me and my family would mean the world to us. Your support would give us hope during this truly trying time. Whatever you give is a blessing that we don’t take for granted. Thank you for reading our story and considering a donation to help us through this difficult chapter.
