Mom & baby boy in desperate need of help

my name is Bailey & I am starting this fundraiser for my dear friend, Alex & my nephew Hudson. Thank you for taking your time to read this message.

Alex and Hudson are in desperate need of help.

Their home caught fire and Alex was only able to grab the animals and her 6 1/2 month old son, Hudson. They lost everything. She had to place her pup into a boarding facility while she tried to find a place for her and Hudson to live. Then complete tragedy strikes. Hudson had a seizure so Alex took him to the hospital. After undergoing many tests, they learned he has meningitis and an infection in his brain. He will be admitted to the hospital at a minimum of 21 days.

Alex has to travel back and forth from the hospital everyday. The cost of gas is a huge strain but she must be with her baby.

We are in desperate need of a couch, a crib and some everyday living essentials so when Hudson comes home, he will be in a space he feels comfortable.

Alex has a long road ahead of her and will be unable to work and earn income during this time. She will be facing a mountain of medical bills, follow up appointments, rent, food, gas, diapers, formula, boarding costs for the pup, etc.

UPDATE 11/18

Hello everyone, Hudson’s mom here… Hudson had a MRI Friday 11/17 and we were assuming the infection was gone since we had done the recommended time of treatment, turns out Hudson now has a new pocket of infection (pus) in his little brain and we are now asked to stay two more weeks for treatment before doing another follow up MRI to see if the infection has progressed or gone away.

With that said gas is extremely expensive, so is food to eat and I still have to make sure my animals are taken care and since we will be coming up on a month, boarding is what I’m looking into as leaving throughout the day is just not sufficient at this time.
