My names Grace I’m 22, I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and due April 10th 2023. I am employed but I just started this job so I don’t qualify for maternity leave, disability, pto. I just got my own apartment after working a laboring job while being pregnant with major nausea, headaches, swelling and family drama. I had to move 4 times while being pregnant. I left my husband and moved back from Texas in June and found out I was pregnant in July. It’s been a battle just trying to make sure we (my baby and I) had a home of our own before he makes his entrance into the world. I would really love to spend 2-4 weeks with my baby before I have to hand him over to someone while I go to work. He deserves better than that and I feel like I deserve some time to heal and bond with my child. I’m asking for donations so that I can do just that. The money would go towards rent($990), utilities(3-400$ total), food($2-300$ a month), formula (if breast feeding doesn’t go as planned)Wic is backed up so it’ll take at least a month to get back into the office, gas (1-200$ a month to get to and from appointments) , basically to give me a few weeks off work while I get to bond with my son, the amount I’m asking for doesn’t even cover everything I would need for 6 weeks.
