Single foster mom in need
Donation protected
Jennifer is a single career woman who made tremendous sacrifices to start fostering teen girls. In January of 2020, she lost her job.
Because of her children’s significant trauma histories and high level of supervisory needs, Jennifer was not able to leave home and actively look for another position for many months, relying on her savings to provide for her and her children.
But now, those savings are gone. Although Jennifer is actively seeking employment, her financial resources are depleted. She has been working small side jobs to help make ends meet, but these options are not covering her bills.
This is where we can help. I (Kimberly) am a friend of Jennifer and a fellow foster parent. As a foster parent, I often hear that people want to be a part of helping children in foster care but are not able to foster themselves. But anyone can come alongside foster families who are in the trenches, doing amazingly hard and important work, and help them.
That's why I started this fundraiser for Jennifer. She has helped me and my family in times of need and difficulty, and I know that she is an incredibly deserving recipient of help now.
A simple $20 donation (heck, even a $2 donation!) will add up to helping Jennifer make ends meet for the next two months, so she can focus on job-hunting and ministering to the children in her care. Please join me in supporting Jennifer and her family and enabling her to continue helping the most vulnerable children in our society.
Thanks very much!
