This is more difficult than I had imagined. I've always been able to get by until now. I am a single father of two children who have grown and moved out - my son joined the armed services and my daughter is in the medical industry and engaged - prior to this, they had still been living at home helping to pay the monthly rent in our large house. I work a full time job, but also have been building a t-shirt printing business that keeps me busy in the evenings and on weekends, I enjoy it so much it barely feels like work. I especially enjoy developing print designs that portray local scenery and activities. After my kids moved out, I attempted bringing on a roommate and that was a year of absolute turmoil - the guy paid 3 out of 12 months rent...it was a huge mistake, but thankfully I managed to get him to leave voluntarily. Thank goodness for the t-shirt gig or I would have been sunk. The roommate snafu caused me to miss some payments on other bills and wage garnishments are now proceeding. I could not afford moving to a more reasonably sized home before the garnishments and now its certainly a worse situation. If I can raise enough to move to a less expensive rental, I'll be able to live within my means and with much less stress. Any help offered would be hugely appreciated - Thank You.
