Single Dad's Struggle with Brain Tumor
Donation protected
Hello, friends! I've been having various neurological maladies for a few years with no solid answers, which eventually turned into seriously painful and debilitating migraines a few months back, and a constant dull headache. I asked my doctor for an MRI which was performed on November 26th. Subsequently, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor with swelling at a concerning degree (roughly the size of a golf ball) that will require surgery to remove it, and possibly 3 weeks or more for recovery time with restrictions on driving and any sort physical or mental exertion.
I am a single father with full custody of my daughter. I am concerned that with the recovery time, I will not be able to successfully achieve paying rent, bills and potential physical therapy until I can get back to work, as I do not have a job that offers FMLA.
I understand during the holiday season, finances can become an issue, but any assistance would be greatly appreciated as I recover from this stressful and restrictive situation. Thank you in advance and happy holidays!
