Single Dad with TBI Needs Your Help

Single Dad with a Traumatic Brain Injury struggling and on verge of eviction.

I am his mother, this victim of the TBI. I write this on behalf of him and his son (my only grandson).

We have always been a private family, but I just don’t know how else to help them. My son’s TBI was a result of a snowboarding accident on Cranmore Mtn back in 2003.

His journey has been long & very difficult. Surviving and Living with a TBI that most everyone doesn't understand ( because you can't see it like you can a broken arm ) you simply can't understand unless you’re living it or in the medical field that specializes in such issues.

He’s fought HARD... has struggled daily all these years to be a functional part of society. He later had a son whom he ended up fighting for to gain sole custody because the mother had/has drug addictions. Being a single FULL TIME Dad to any child with absolutely little to no help from anyone is more then challenging. Add a Severe Brain Injury on top of that...........!!

Jason has been a stellar dad to his son, whose name I won’t mention due to being a minor, he as sacrificed everything and placed himself on the back burner so his son wouldn’t go without.

Now with him growing older, now 44 years old, this damn brain injury has been manifesting itself to the point where he hasn’t been able to hold a job. It's all coming to a head, he's older, the TBI and the ability to function only gets worse...........rent is LONG past due, bills piled high because he's tried so hard to manage all of this on his own, its gotten way out of control...........

I couldn’t even begin to explain/express how dire this situation has become because he hasn’t been fully upfront with any of us.

So here we are now, putting our pride behind us and asking for some much needed assistance to help get him out of this deep hole........
