Jameson Rumohr (aka Ted) did exactly that.
This Gofundme is dedicated for Ted, a 38 year old single dad to Janine. He lived his life right and gave her everything a daughter could ask for. Unfortunately, Ted’s life was cut short due to Leukemia and sadly he won't be able to see his daughter grow up. We are heartbroken.
He would have loved to experience watching his daughter grow up, her first day of school, obtaining a driver license, walking her down the aisle and other milestones in her life.
First love is what he would always describe with his daughter every time. The love he had provided to his daughter, you couldn't ask for more. He made sure every single minute counted being with her especially during his last days.
He was also an outgoing, caring, giving and selfless, a great son and a great brother and friend to a lot of people.
He fought hard until the very end, and asked the doctors to not give up on him yet, as he was not giving up for his daughter.
Ted was not ready to leave his daughter, he was mentally strong and never showed any weaknesses but the body could only do so much. He fought the battle hard while giving all he could for Janine.
It takes a village and we are asking that you help us during these moments when his 5 year old daughter needs us the most. Any amount donated is greatly appreciated. The funds we raise will be used to cover his funeral/burial costs and towards a college fund for Janine. Before his passing he wished for us to help take care of his daughter so we are doing the best we can to fulfill that for him. Any amount will go a long way especially for Janine.
