My name is Samantha Waibel & my father Carl recently had a stroke on November 12th. If you know my dad at all, he is a very caring and kind person. He has raised me and my 17 year old sister on his own for the past 12 years. My dad has treated everybody who has walked into our home as family.

The past 4 months we have struggled due to him being out of work due to an assault so I have been the sole provider for the 3 of us. I am not sure if he will ever return back to work due to these traumatic events. Unfortunately, I do not make enough to support all of us so we are being evicted within the next 30-45 days despite his assault and stroke. I am in the process of trying to relocate us while working full time & spending time with him in the facility. I am not sure if insurance will cover his surgery, stay here and his rehabilitation. Unfortunately, he is not eligible for SSI or SSID at this time. I am doing all the research I can to try to find resources for us.
