Singing Windmills, The Play

Through the years, theater stages around the world have been graced by many dedicated professionals, none of whom are more synonymous with the word Theater, than Solomon Mikhoels. Yet, Shlomo, as he was called by those closest to him, continues to remain an almost "mythical creature." Someone who was known by all, and yet a mystery to everyone. We would like to shine a little bit of light onto this great man: an Actor, a Director, an Artist. A Father, a Husband, a Lover. A Philanthropist, A Leader, A Human!
 
"The Singing Windmills", written by Roman Freud and directed by Gera Sandler, is in the beginning stages of production. The show will feature some of the most renowned Russian-speaking actors of New York. Characters will be portrayed by Dimitri Koan, Yelena Shmulenson, Anna Zicer, Roman Freud, Alex Notkin and others. Alex Ryaboy will compose an original score. Natasha Mileshina will take on the role of head designer.
 
We will do everything in our power to bring you fresh, engaging, and incomparable theater. The kind that you - our loyal and loving NYC audience - have been patiently waiting for during the "dark year". The show is slated to open on March 2nd, 2022.
 
We are asking for your support and contribution in order to make sure that all the things we are planing for will be possible. We ask for your support!
 
Money raised will be used to pay the actors, the composer, graphic and stage designers, as well as secure the rehearsal spaces and help off-set and cover some of the theater rental fees.
