You may be aware that Mum and I have been posting songs and dances every Friday on Facebook and YouTube since March 2020 as the Dementia Groups we support stopped due to Covid. We hoped that some of the group members would enjoy continuing to sing on Friday as music really does help those suffering with dementia and their carers too. We have now done a full year. If you have enjoyed watching, singing along, dancing with us, sharing and hopefully laughing with us then you may like to support us raising some much needed funds for our two groups, ‘The Hargreaves Dementia Trust’ and ‘Musical Memories StHelens’. In recent months the usual contributions to the groups have dried up somewhat due to lack of fund raising opportunities for our supporters. If you can spare any money to help support us any amount would be appreciated, however small. We understand that this is a very difficult time for so many so no problem if you feel you can’t. Our cash target was £200 but that was reached in less than an hour! We upped it to £400 & that was reached in a couple of days, so we pushed the bar right up to £1,000 and hoped that we can reach that target before the full year is up. We’re now almost at the end of our fundraising and are delighted to raise the bar to a realistic £3,000 target due to the generosity of our lovely friends.
