Malakai has been presented and selected with a great opportunity through his basketball association to take part in a basketball competition that is held in Singapore in October 2022.

Ipswich Basketball will be conducting an international playing tour to Singapore in October 2022. The purpose of this tour is to expose IBA players to international Basketball experiences that will assist them in their development. IBA will attend the Asia Pacific Basketball Cup in Singapore; a tournament that attracted 78 teams from 10 countries around the world in 2019 (Pre COVID).

Whilst this is a Basketball tour, we are committed to exposing players to all that Singapore has to offer. This will include visiting the Singapore Zoo, Universal StudiosSands Skypark Observation Deck and more. In the days leading up to the tournament, we plan to train at throughout the day in preparation.

 

We think this would be an amazing opportunity for Malakai to experience and have exposure into the big wide world, I will also be accompanying him on this trip.
