Hi there! I'm Charlie – a community musician and therapeutic arts practitioner.

Last year, I created a large-scale collaborative music project called 'Sing from the Heart' – and it was a rip-roaring success! So this year… we’re doing it all over again!

This time, I’ve brought together my therapeutic singing groups, community choirs, and the brilliant young voices of Ramsgate Arts Primary School to co-create a brand new piece: 'Let There Be Music'. The recording is already underway, and by the end, we’ll have around 400 voices on the track – double last year’s total – ranging in age from 6 to 96!

A project of this scale and spirit deserves a truly special video – and I’d love to bring in The Kent Video Company again. They created a beautiful film of last year’s project, and you can see the results here:

They’ve kindly offered us a discounted rate because they believe in the project, so I’m budgeting £500 for filming and editing.

I’m also planning to pay £120 each to 4 outstanding musicians to form the live backing band at our performance on 19th November, where the video will be recorded. Their contribution last year lifted the event to a whole new level.

And finally, I’d like to bring back the same brilliant sound engineer as last time – someone I trust to make sure every voice and instrument is captured with care. His fee will be £150.

This project has brought together hundreds of people in a powerful, shared creative experience. With your support, we can turn it into something even more meaningful – a celebration of community, music, and togetherness that will be remembered for years to come.
