We are coming together to support Sinead, an incredible woman who has spent 18 years caring for others in our healthcare system. For nearly two decades, Sinead has worked tirelessly as a Healthcare Assistant, and more recently as a Ward Clerk, always bringing compassion, kindness, and a friendly smile to everyone she meets.
Sinead is a devoted single mother and a loving dog owner, balancing work, family, and life with strength and warmth. Anyone who knows her will tell you she is full of life, endlessly helpful, and always thinking of others before herself.
Recently, Sinead received the devastating diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma of her throat and neck. Over the coming weeks, she faces an incredibly tough journey — 7 weeks of treatment, including 35 intense sessions of radiotherapy to her throat and neck, followed by chemotherapy. This treatment is essential, but it will be physically and emotionally exhausting. During this time, Sinead will be unable to work. We can help to show our support by giving a donation, no matter the size to help cover everyday essentials, household bills, travel to treatment and basic living costs.
Sinead has spent her life caring for others. Now it’s our turn to care for her.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word. Your kindness, generosity, and support mean more than words can express.
Thank you for standing with Sinead ❤️
