Sindi needs our urgent help!

Hi all,

I am urgently fundraising on behalf of our friend Sindi Khumalo. If you know Sindi she is an amazing woman, a fabulous driver and a great friend. I’m gutted to say she has fallen on very hard times since covid has destroyed tourism and business travel in Joburg, and so her business has collapsed and she has used up all her savings. She is now in a position where she cannot afford regular groceries or payments on her home and is still trying to raise her 4 year old granddaughter (pic below) and support her daughter. She is proud and so struggled to ask me for help but I think (and hope) she may have many more friends out there than we realise (those who she’s driven and those she hasn’t!). We’re also looking into how/if we can support her longer term with ongoing work in Joburg but in the short-term can you help me to cover her arrears so that she can keep her home?
