Pakistan's government has declared a national emergency as rain-induced floods have killed more than 2500 people, including 743 children, and left at least 10 million without shelter.

Sindh Province reported the highest number of deaths, as more than 1200 people lost their lives due to floods and rain-related incidents.

Balochistan reported 775 deaths during the recent monsoon rains.
