Dear humans of the world,

My name is Monther El Khodary,I am sharing my story today in hopes that anyone with kindness and humanity in their hearts helps my family and me escape Gaza and get to Egypt safely and as soon as possible.

I am currently displaced with my sons, and my wife Rajaa we have diabetes and hypertension and require regular use of medication that we are struggling to find and/or afford at this time.

My 4 sons and their wives and children are also seeking shelter in the same home.

My older son Ali , his wife Haneen, and their 3 children : Munther , Youssef, and Zaid (2 months old).

Mohammad , his wife Ola ,and their 2 children Minna and Farah

And, Mahmoud and his wife, Maryam.

Abdullah he is a single.

Over the past 6+ months, my family and I have been displaced multiple times after fleeing the North to the South trying to find a place to seek shelter away from the aggression in the North.

Little did we know that no place was actually safe in Gaza and whether you follow orders or not, you like hundreds of thousands of Gazans, will lose everything we ever owned and worked hard for.

Since October 2023, we have endured unimaginable loss and continue to fear for our lives every single day. Not only did we watch our own homes be flattened to the ground but also we lost several loved ones from our friends and family including my brother Omar, who was mercilessly murdered when an Israeli airstrike targeted his home where he stayed with his family while visiting Gaza in the fall.

Life was really good for my family and me before we lost everything we ever owned: our loved ones, our homes, our careers, and all of our personal belongings.

My older son, Ali, just had a newborn, baby Zaid, in January and his wife Haneen endured complications after her delivery for which she had to be hospitalized and needs continuous closed monitoring, all of which is nearly impossible with the current collapse of the medical system in Gaza.

In addition to the medical care, my nieces and grandchildren live in a constant fear of their bodies being shredded to pieces by an airstrike and they constantly ask what they should do if they had to survive alone if their parents or the rest of us get killed.

We are living a constant nightmare of a life and with your help and support we can put an end to our pain and suffering by fleeing out of Gaza to safety in Egypt.

Our children deserve to sleep in a warm home, bath in clean warm water, and have access to food, drink, medical care, and education like all children of the world.

The funds that we collect will not only help my family and I escape Gaza but also find means to provide all these basic life necessities for our children
