Simsbury Little League - Field Enhancement Fund

As announced earlier this year, Simsbury Little League is fundraising for Memorial Park capital improvements. This winter, the Board of Directors began scoping this project and working with local contractors and vendors on a budget. As you make your way back to the fields this spring, you will see work beginning around Field 5. Our objective is to continue this work through the spring while limiting disruptions to any of the playing fields. While our initial focus will be Field 5, we hope to raise funds sufficient to address several maintenance and enhancement items across all the fields at Memorial Park. Some examples of the planned enhancements include the following:
- Construction of a new press box
- Upgrades to existing fencing, dugouts, and the field
- Additional batting cages for pre-game and practices
- Updated bullpens
- New scoreboards and PA System
- Upgraded viewing areas for parents and enhanced landscaping
- An infield tarp system.
All contributions will be acknowledged at Memorial Park, and we have established the following levels of support: $50, $200, $500, and $1000+. All donations are 100% tax deductible.
All donations provided through Spring registration will be applied to the sponsorship levels above, and they may be “topped off” to reach a sponsorship level.
