SimsStrong Studios believes that representation is extremely important. Experiencing and seeing images and stories that are relatable and reflect you are impactful in visualizing yourself in positive and achievable roles in society. Our goal is to make a strong impact through providing free and low-cost opportunities for schools, families, and the community at large to engage and take part in, right here in our own city.
SimsStrong is in process of creating the following:
Black Excellence Walk Through Gallery
This gallery will showcase all of the photographic projects Sims Strong has done over the years. The gallery will also inform and educate visitors on historical events and share impactful stories of our ancestors.
Interactive Black History Selfie Museum
The museum will be open to all who want to come, engage, and learn about the men and women that have paved the way for generations to come. The selfie museum will also allow exciting photo experience in various exhibits designed for meaningful selfie photos for families and friends.
Photography Book
We aim to create a photo book containing every image that has been captured over the years for Black History Month! The images have been powerful and we want to create a book that keeps them together forever.
