Kemp Family needs a furnace after winter blackout

Donation protected
Calandrian and George Kemp of Houston lost their son George Jr. to gun violence about seven years ago. Like all survivors of gun violence, their lives changed forever. The winter blast in Texas this week plunged the Kemps into the literal chill of a house without power in sub-freezing temperatures and the psychic chill of trauma that never goes away and, in fact, gets worse in times of crisis. The power is on now, but the Kemps only have space heaters and their oven to warm their home.

Please help Calandrian and George to buy and install a furnace to keep them safe and warm. Thank you.

About me: I have known Calandrian and George Kemp for about four years. They're tireless advocates for gun violence prevention, known nationally for their sharing their story and love for their son. Calandrian selflessly takes other survivors under her wing to help her Angel Moms navigate and endure their loss. I'm honored to help them and appreciate your kindness.
