I'm Simon's partner, Pirry.

I have watched Simon build his cycle workshop from scratch, over years and years of hard work, as I know many of his loyal customer and viewers have too.

His dedication to the workshop, the industry and to his customers has been faultless.

As many will know that the cycle industry is unforgiving. Every winter is a struggle - but this winter has had the added kick in the sack.

Testicular cancer.

What a bastard.

The workshop has had to close, and will have to remain closed until after his operation, and any required chemo.

He's not very happy about me starting this page, as he doesn't want to make a fuss, and doesn't feel like he's entitled to financial help. Like many self-employed people, a serious illness can mean the end of the business. I can't stand by and watch this happen whilst he also faces down cancer. That's just not fair.

So before it slips out of his hands, whilst he can't work, I thought I'd start a GoFundMe.
