Simon’s Emergency Medical Fund

As many of you know, I am currently getting over a nasty case of C. Diff and have had some complications from it. Mr. Simon Marie Martin is the dog that never leaves my side, and last night (10/11), after Simon was rushed to the emergency animal hospital, we discovered that dogs too can get C. Diff. Just like his owner, he was especially at risk from his own past health issues.

During this visit, two more small, suspicious lumps were examined, and we were advised to follow up with his regular vet and get them biopsied ASAP.

As one could guess, these emergency vet bills were astronomical. Simon is currently doing okay. He is home on antibiotics, probiotics, and a special diet to help treat the infection as well as minimize blood loss and inflammation. While I hate asking for help, we are still a one-income household due to me being unable to work, and the regular bills have been challenging to keep up with (i.e., my own medical costs, getting a new car following the accident, existing on this planet...). We are currently in a very difficult financial spot, and any and all help is greatly appreciated.
