Simon's chance
Donation protected
A friend recently reached out to me, and I want to share this story with you in the hopes that you can join me in helping someone special have a place to call home.
My friend Simon lives in Kenya with his mother. He is a resilient person who is doing his best to make it in a world with limited resources. I met Simon in 2017 through my studies in Norway. Having travelled from Kenya with a governmental scholarship, his goal was to complete the masters program so that he could return home to work in development aid. Unfortunately, a year into the program, his mom fell ill and he had to urgently return home, losing his scholarship and unable to complete his degree.
Despite adversity, with a strong-will, kind heart and soul, Simon gives back to his community working in child protection services. He supports his mom the best he can and is saving up to one day be able to come back to Norway to complete his degree.
Due to tough times with food and increasing prices in Kenya, Simon is struggling to make payments as he recently bought a small piece of land for his mom. Paying off this land is the first step to one day build a house so that he and his mom can have a place to call home, and one day return to Norway to complete his degree.
I've created this gofundme page to help Simon have that chance. It starts small. A simple act of kindness, but it can ripple out and create an ocean of prosperity in the world.
If you can only give a little, it is giving a lot. For those who can give more, please do.
Sending all my love,
