Simon Mcbride Instrumentals

Hey its Simon McBride here, For anyone that doesn't know me, I'm a touring guitarist that plays for Ian Gillan, Don Airey, Snakecharmer and many others.

It’s really tough out there for musicians to make a living right now. But as my schedule has been cleared by the pandemic it has brought back to mind something I have been meaning to do for a long time -- a guitar instrumental album. And now I have the time to do it!

I will record 10 tracks and release these every 1-2 weeks via a download link. This is not a “release” in the traditional sense. It won’t be available on any streaming sites and will only be available to fans who register to receive this music.

There is no fixed cost. I’m just hoping that you will pay what you think the music is worth to you. By making a donation you will help me to continue on as a musician in this difficult time and keep bringing new music to the world.

I will send the first track free to everyone who registers. If you like what you hear then please make what you think is a fair donation to receive the remaining nine tracks.

Bio:

Simon is the guitarist for Ian Gillan from Deep Purple and guitarist / co-writer on Don Airey’s albums. Simon recently signed to Europe’s leading rock label, Ear Music, home of Alice Cooper, Al Di Meola, Deep Purple and a host of other leading names.

His guitar skills (“Among the best blues-rock players anywhere in the world” GUITARIST) made him a go-to guitarist on the blues-rock scene, admired among professionals and endorsed by some of the biggest brands like PRS Guitars.

Former Young Guitarist of The Year and now fully-fledged blues-rock virtuoso, He has toured with Joe Satriani, Jeff Beck, Joe Bonamassa, and Grammy nominee Derek Trucks.
Simon was recruited by the Belfast-based pioneering metal band Sweet Savage, who reformed in 1994 without their founding guitarist, Vivian Campbell (Dio, Def Leppard), who Simon replaced. Simon toured and recorded two albums with them. He toured for 6 years with Andrew Strong, who made his name in the 1991 cult film The Commitments, His debut album on Ear Music is set to release in May 2020.
