Simone’s Chemotherapy and Rare Tumor Journey
Donation protected
Simone has been one of my biggest cheerleaders and supporters since I met her and I am ready to be that for her now. In January 2023, Simone was diagnosed with a rare tumor, a sarcoma, in the breast. Sarcomas are rare cancers that develop in the bones and soft tissues. And her type of sarcoma tumor is even more rare, it underwent testing at the Mayo Clinic this past December + January. She has done extensive research and has seen many different doctors to gather as much information as she can and a team of women doctors on this rare tumor journey. The first attempt at shrinking the tumor was an alternative treatment trial before trying Chemotherapy. Unfortunately, last month in October 2023 she had an MRI and it was confirmed the tumor has grown over the last 6 months. It has grown inward deeper into her Pec Major muscle.
Simone’s journey is now moving fast in order to prepare for Chemotherapy which will likely begin late December. She is beginning fertility treatments the week of Thanksgiving to retrieve eggs and freeze them before Chemotherapy starts. Hopefully Chemotherapy will shrink the tumor off of the muscle enough so surgery can be completed and not take too much of the muscle.
We all know how expensive medical care can be and Simone needs our support. The journey to a real and true diagnosis has been expensive, as is the journey ahead, and she could use our support with medical bills, alternative treatment, and to support her Chemotherapy journey overall. Simone will need to take on less of a workload in order to complete all of her treatments and heal.
These funds will directly be going to:
Fertility (freeze eggs before Chemo)
Costs of Chemo treatment
Cold Cap Therapy (to help hair loss)
Somatic Therapy weekly
Acupuncture weekly (Simone has begun working with a woman who specializes in chemotherapy patients and is going weekly)
Alternative therapies to support Chemotherapy
Cover out of pocket expenses for the doctors
Cover MRIs + pre + post-surgery costs post-chemotherapy
Supplemental living expenses
No amount is too small. And if you are not able to monetarily donate, please share on socials, that helps too! Prayers and love are always accepted. Thank you from the bottoms of both of our hearts for any contribution you can make!
