Simone's Breast Cancer Fight

As many of you know and some are learning now, our dear Simone was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. This came as a shock and she is still learning more about her diagnosis and treatment plan (there will be surgery and radiation in the upcoming weeks, along with the possibility of chemo and more surgeries). There is still a lot of gray area, but we have no doubt she will come through this stronger than ever. With that said, the road ahead will definitely be a challenge.

The emotional and financial burden of surviving breast cancer is a challenge (to say the least) at any stage of life, but for such a vibrant and healthy mom, it seems even more unfair that Simone and her family are dealing with this. I think we all know that Simone is one of the most fun loving, hilarious and all around amazing people we know and she deserves our love and support at this time.

This is where you and your funds come in. Even with some health insurance coverage, the financial strain will be overwhelming for her family. Even simple things like rent, groceries and childcare can be a challenge. 

A few examples of what the funds raised will be used for:
-Any uncovered medical costs
-Bills and expenses that will add up while Simone is out of work and her husband Reed has to take time off to care for her and the girls
-Any other unanticipated costs that come along with this fight

We know that everyone has their own financial commitments and not everyone can donate. Even help with the girls or house cleaning while Simone is recovering from surgery would be greatly appreciated.
