To know Simone is to love Simone.  Beautiful inside and out, she is smart, quirky, kind, funny and generous.  She is an amazing single mama, huge animal lover, outdoor enthusiast, hiker extraordinaire and just a badass gal in general who thrives on helping others, but now she needs our help.  The other day, Simone was suddenly attacked by a (known and much loved) dog, who bit her in the face, causing extreme damage.  Emergency surgery required a skin graft and hundreds of stitches.  Her recovery will be long, and will likely require multiple procedures.  As luck would have it, all of her initial trauma care and surgery is considered out of network for her insurance plan (because when you're holding the pieces of your face together, you're supposed to confirm that the emergency surgeon is in-network?!?).  Simone is and always will be beautiful,  but this situation is going to get very expensive, very fast, and as a school district employee with a daughter going off to college next month, our friend could really use our help.  Even $5 helps, no amount is too small.  Thank you for supporting our wonderful friend!
