Our beloved Simone Natasha Lea Kellman-Washington passed away suddenly at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, Canada on Friday, March 17, 2023, following a brief illness.
Simone, 49, was well-loved and respected by her family, friends, and work colleagues. She gave her all to help others, even some she didn’t know. Her faith in God was tremendous and believed firmly in “Destiny Helpers”.
This IKEA Communications Ambassador 2020-21 was a trained social worker by profession and served many vulnerable populations with training, counselling, and community projects with BNTF, OXFAM, EPA, GFC & Lodge Community High.
Simone was a member of several Organisations including the Christ Church Alumni Association, UG Class of 2006 Dip. Social Workers, Temple of Praise Church of God, Toronto, House of Prayer, Tucville AOG, and Pray For Guyana Int’l which she founded.
Simone passionately loved her native land, Guyana and her relatives and friends wish to lay her to rest in her homeland.
