The Ramirez family has created this GoFundMe to support the immediate family of our beloved Simone.

Simone was a young man (19) who lived a life full of love, laughter, and joy. He had a rare gift—he left every room brighter than when he walked in. Simone devoted his life to helping others before helping himself, always. His presence made people feel seen, valued, and appreciated. The love he shared, regardless of time or distance, was always deeply felt. His dedication to his family spoke volumes about his character. Simone was a growing young man who did not get the chance to live the life he deserved, yet he left us with everything we needed.

Before his passing, Simone was living in Italy with his brother Luca and his father Masimo. Simone worked extremely hard to reunite his family by sponsoring his mother, Luly, and sister, Asia, to move to Italy. At the time, Luly and Asia were living in Ecuador, but they all knew their family needed to be together. Simone worked tirelessly to make this happen, knowing he would be the one to financially support the family once they reunited.

Once together, Simone did what he always did—he made things work. He helped his mother secure the perfect job, and with the family reunited and stability ahead, life finally felt whole. They began dreaming about the future they would build together—the places they would see and the new life they would share.

On November 1, Simone traveled to Germany to visit his girlfriend, Nicole. This trip was meant to be a joyful one—a chance for Simone to relax and experience life through someone else’s world for a change.

On November 13, Nicole went to her classes and asked Simone if he wanted to join her. He decided to stay back and rest. When Nicole returned home, she found Simone on the ground after he had suffered a stroke. He was rushed to the hospital and placed on life support as everyone waited anxiously for answers. Overnight, his condition worsened. Doctors informed the family that Simone’s brain showed very little activity and that recovery was unlikely. With unimaginable heartbreak, the decision was made to remove life support.

On November 15, 2025, Simone Fogliata Ramirez passed away, surrounded by his loving family and Nicole.

True to who he was, Simone’s final act was one of selflessness. He donated his organs and saved the lives of four people.

This sudden and tragic loss has impacted Luly in immeasurable ways. As a newcomer to Italy, she was already facing challenges such as learning a new language and having a limited support system. Now, she is also the sole provider for her family. Alongside overwhelming grief, she is facing funeral expenses and the realities of building a life in a new country without her son.

As a family, we are doing everything we can to support Luly, Luca and Asia —but we cannot do it alone. We are asking for your help to ease Luly’s burden so she can grieve without additional financial stress.

El 13 de noviembre, Nicole fue a sus clases y le preguntó a Simone si quería acompañarla. Él decidió quedarse descansando. Cuando ella regresó a casa, encontró a Simone en el suelo después de haber sufrido un derrame cerebral. Fue trasladado de urgencia al hospital y conectado a soporte vital mientras todos esperaban respuestas con angustia. Durante la noche, su condición empeoró. Los médicos informaron a la familia que había muy poca actividad cerebral y que la recuperación era poco probable. Con un dolor inimaginable, se tomó la decisión de retirar el soporte vital.

El 15 de noviembre de 2025, Simone Fogliata Ramírez falleció, rodeado de su familia Lourdes, Masimo. Luca ,Asia y de Nicole.

Fiel a quien siempre fue, el último acto de Simone fue uno de generosidad. A través de la donación de sus órganos, salvó la vida de cuatro personas.

Esta pérdida repentina y trágica ha afectado profundamente a Luly. Como recién llegada a Italia, ya enfrentaba desafíos como aprender un nuevo idioma y construir una vida con una red de apoyo limitada. Ahora, además, enfrenta un dolor inmenso mientras se convierte en la única proveedora de su familia. A esto se suman los gastos funerarios y la realidad de comenzar de nuevo en un país extranjero sin su hijo.

Como familia, estamos haciendo todo lo posible para apoyar a Luly, Luca y Asia, pero no podemos hacerlo solos. Pedimos su ayuda para aliviar la carga económica de Luly y permitirle atravesar su duelo sin preocupaciones adicionales.
