Simon to be a healthy young adult

Hi my name is Diana and I am raising funds for my son Simon.

Simon is 16, he is such a lovely and kind boy. He came to my life when I most needed him bringing colour into my world. Simon is studying to be a great chef, he loves photography, design and art and has so many dreams and goals for his future.

back in January Simon’s tummy was feeling upset for a week. I didn’t pay much attention but took him to the doctor thinking he might have caught a virus. We soon discover that Simon had a large mass growing inside blocking some important organs that inside his digestive system. All these organs are inflamed and struggling to perform because of this blockage.

this has cause Simon to have many symptoms like discomfort and pain, fatigue and weight loss. He hasn’t been able to attend work or college as usual due to these symptoms that sometimes don’t let him live his life fully.

Simon’s condition doesn’t have yet have an explanation, is being studied, making all this process long and complicated. We have been informed Simon’s condition is very rare, needing a major surgery to help find a solution to his problem.

I have decided to create this fund in order to help Simon with appointments, tests and diet requirements, and to find a diagnosis and treatment.

many of you know I am from Colombia so have no much family around or many friends here, which makes life difficult sometimes since I have another boy who is 6 and needs time and attention.

i spend a lot of time with Simon at the hospital and trying to work, but due to appointments and exams I am not able to do the usual hours since I am taking care of him.

your support and help can allow us to seek special advice, support and help for Simon so that he can be taken care properly, and hopefully recover soon from this situation.
