Simon Sherwell Memorial Bench

After the tragic passing of Simon earlier this year, some of his family and friends have decided it would be fitting to commission a memorial bench in Keynsham park.

Simon was loved by so many, and we didn't feel it right to go ahead and start the process without giving people the opportunity to contribute if they wish to, or are able.

This page has been set-up to collect any donations on behalf of the family.

It costs just shy of £2000, to install the bench (with a Plaque) and for the council to maintain it for the next 10 years, so that is the figure we've set as a goal. If we're lucky enough to raise in excess of what is needed, we'll donate the rest to local charities (of the family's choosing).

It's been an incredibly difficult year and hopefully this small gesture can make a real difference.
